DESCRIPTION:The ITS UK Advocacy & Public Affairs Group is our main forum for the discussion of policy\, comms and public affairs issues. The Group provides the opportunity for attendees to hear from a key speaker on a relevant policy topic\, followed by an update on ITS UK’s Advocacy & Public Affairs Plan. \nThis session will look at the policy and comms issues around Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) with speakers from Zenzic\, the industry champion for the UK Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) ecosystem\, and the new All Party Parliamentary Group on Self-Driving Vehicles\, which has launched a new inquiry on the technology. \nSpeakers include: \n\nNiamh Fogarty of the APPG on Self-Driving Vehicles\nKit Golda\, Stakeholder Engagement Lead & Frances Williamson\, Head of Stakeholder Engagement\, Zenzic\nRepresentative from CCAV (tbc)\n\nThe event will also provide an opportunity for Members to hear an update on ITS UK’s Advocacy & Public Affairs Plan and to feed in their views and thoughts. \nThe meeting will take place at Jacob’s offices in London and is open to all members. \nRegister to attend here \nSpeakers \nNiamh Fogarty\, Partner\, Hanbury Strategy \n \nNiamh is a Partner at Hanbury\, advising companies across a range of industries on public affairs\, policy communications\, and media relations – from global investors to fast-growing companies operating in regulated markets. Prior to joining Hanbury three and a half years ago\, she spent four years in FTI Consulting’s Tech\, Media\, and Telecoms (TMT) team\, working across corporate reputation\, financial communications\, and investor relations. At Hanbury\, Niamh leads the Self-Driving APPG Secretariat team\, working to build support across Whitehall for automated vehicles and adjacent policy issues that are critical to achieving the UK’s technology ambitions. \nFrances Williamson\, Head of Stakeholder Engagement\, Zenzic \nFrances Williamson is Head of Stakeholder Engagement. at Zenzic\, a non-profit funded by government and industry to champion the UK’s leadership in the development and deployment of Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM). \nAs part of the leadership team Frances spearheads collaboration across the emerging CAM supply chain. With her team she supports all of Zenzic’s funded projects to build a truly collaborative CAM network encompassing a diverse set of stakeholders from across government\, industry and academia. \nWith over two decades of experience in policy\, industry engagement\, and communications\, Frances brings valuable expertise to her role. Prior to joining Zenzic\, she contributed to the energy sector’s efforts in creating decentralised\, democratised and digitised energy systems for UK consumers. \nKit Golda\, Stakeholder Engagement Lead\, Zenzic (they/them) \nKit Golda is Stakeholder Engagement lead at Zenzic where they work to bring organisations and their people together to collaborate on the challenges and opportunities of the emerging Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) ecosystem. \nWith many years’ experience in business development and leadership roles Kit has worked in startups\, corporates and non-profits helping them to define and deliver innovation and change programmes
