DESCRIPTION:The first ITS UK Council meeting of the year is set to take place on the 8th February at Microsoft’s offices in Manchester. \nThe ITS UK Council meetings provide the opportunity to hear and influence the direction of ITS UK’s strategic direction as well as to hear from a senior industry speaker on a key issue of the day. \nIn this meeting we are pleased to welcome Owen Wilson\, Head of Major Roads at Transport for the North. \nOur Council meetings take place quarterly and attendance is open to Executive Members only.  If you would like to register for the meeting please get in touch with Rukshan Soysa\, Operations Manager at ITS UK\, at rukshan.soysa@its-uk.org \n\n \nOwen Wilson \nOwen leads the Transport for the North Major Roads Team in working with Department for Transport\, National Highways\, and local Transport Authority partners in shaping policy and investment priorities for the North’s Major Roads. \nOwen considers himself privileged to have enjoyed more than 24yrs experience managing the development and delivery of transport and local economic strategies within the public and NGO sectors.
