SUMMARY:Data Forum
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Data Forum meeting covering how we can make our Data AI ready.  This very topical session will take place on the 26 March 2025 from 12 noon to 4pm at the WSP’s offices in Manchester.  \nGood quality data is key to applications of AI. Whilst there is an increased focus on how AI can transform how we work\, live and travel\, the focus on how we ensure we have the right data will become increasingly vital.  How can we enhance and work with data to create more opportunities through areas like machine learning\, LLM\, machine vision and other forms of AI? \nIn this session we will be sharing the latest from across the industry as well as practical examples and case studies\, to show how to make data more suitable.  To enable this exploration and discussion\, we are pleased to confirm speakers from the Open Data Institute\, WSP\, Zircon Software\, Transport for Greater Manchester\, Department for Transport (invited) and a presentation on Kaiasm‘s work with National Highways. \nA provisional agenda is available below and we plan to issue a full one with more details very soon but in the meantime please do register your place for this event below. \nREGISTER NOW \n  \nAgenda\n12:00  Arrivals and Lunch \n13:00  Welcome and Introduction\nChris Hutchins-Davies\, Technical Director\, WSP \n13:20  Update from National Highways\nGergely Ruccuja\, Principal Product Owner\, & JJ van de Vyver\, Engagement Manager\, National Highways \n13:40  Data and AI for policy makers in road safety\nNathan Harpham\, Principal Consultant\, Agilysis \n14:00  Kaiasm’s work with National Highways to build their ontology – an academic angle Liam McGee\, Chief Scientist\, Kaiasm \n14:20 Data Quality: How to future proof your AI and Data Solutions\nPeter Overbury\, Head of AI\, Zircon Software \n14:40 Break \n15:00 Presentation from Transport for Greater Manchester\nSam Li\, Senior Innovation Manager\, Transport for Greater Manchester \n15:20 Q&A Session  \n15:40 Closing Remarks and Next Steps  \n16:00 End of Event
