Elena started her career at the Wellcome Trust\, a global health research charity\, before moving to Public Health England’s Parliamentary team\, various private office roles at the Department for Education and rail reform roles at the Department for Transport. Elena completed her Policy Fellowship with the Royal Academy of Engineering while leading policy development of the authorisation of self-driving vehicles.

DESCRIPTION:ITS UK’s Executive Dinner Programme provides a set of four dinners over the course of the year\, exclusively for our Executive Membership\, offering the opportunity for around 30 senior representatives from these organisations to hear from a key decision maker on their priorities and aims going forward. \nThe last Executive Dinner of the year will bring Executive Members together with Parliamentarians and policy makers in Parliament. The Dinner will look at how the sector can deliver the Government’s vision for an integrated transport network\, including how data and technology can create more seamless journeys for end users. \nWe offer one place per Executive Member on a first come\, first served basis. SUMMARY:EV Infrastructure Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:As the UK shifts rapidly towards zero-emission vehicles\, the availability of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure is becoming ever more critical. Without a comprehensive network of chargers (both on-site at depots and accessible to the public)\, the UK’s ambitions for net zero transport will not be possible. \nAs part of ITS UK’s partnership with the Crown Commercial Service\, this roundtable will explore how public sector and corporate organisations are procuring EV charging infrastructure and preparing their fleets for net zero. The roundtable will bring together those looking to electrify their fleets with Government\, ITS UK members and the wider sector to explore how the industry can drive forward decarbonisation. \nThe roundtable will take place at the Workspace Offices in Fleet Street from 10am to 12.30pm.
