Commercial Lead, West Midlands Combined Authority

As Commercial Lead for the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), Jordan Cowley is responsible for identifying and creating revenue generation opportunities within Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) and across the wider WMCA.

Having initially joined TfWM to focus on Mobility as a Service (MaaS), his role expanded in late 2024 to support the 2027 ITS World Congress, for which he now oversees Strategic Partnerships. In this capacity, he engages closely with stakeholders from across the private, public, and academic sectors.

Jordan’s primary objectives are to secure sponsorship for the 2027 ITS World Congress and to engage with markets to ensure the event delivers meaningful value to a diverse audience. He is also committed to ensuring strong engagement and buy-in from government bodies, making certain the event is relevant and impactful for all involved.
