The ITS UK Awards are the leading national celebration for transport technology. Awarded at the annual President’s Dinner, the Awards showcase the leading people, projects and organisations in the sector, covering everything from digitalisation, safety, sustainability and more.

The ‘Allan Prize’ Essay Competition

ITS UK’s Essay Competition, the ‘Allan Prize’, invites those new to the sector to submit a paper on a key topic or interest area, with the chance to win £750, a mentoring session with an industry leader and have your essay promoted across the sector.

The 2026 Competition is now closed and will reopen in January 2027.
