Student, University of Plymouth
Charlotte is an MSc Planning student at the University of Plymouth, specialising in how mobility data and technology can inform gender-sensitive transport planning to improve women’s safety in urban public transport systems. She attended Transport Ticketing Global 2026, engaging with mobility technology firms on incorporating safety for women and all users into their platforms, with particular interest in journey planning applications. She holds an undergraduate degree in Geography from the London School of Economics (LSE), where her dissertation explored women’s experiences of the LSE Boxing club. Her research aims to extend these insights into broader public transport and active travel environments.
