Advocacy and Public Affairs Group

The Advocacy and Public Affairs Group provides the opportunity for attendees to hear from key speakers covering policy or comms in the sector, followed by an in-depth update on ITS UK’s Advocacy & Public Affairs Plan, and a dive into ‘what’s next?’.

In this session, ITS UK will provide a mid-year update on a busy six months representing the sector which has included multiple parliamentary events, a host of consultations, a select committee hearing, and several meetings with senior politicians. Furthermore, we’ll be welcoming the Department for Transport’s Head of External Affairs, Sam Blainey, who will be speaking to members in an intimate setting about how to best engage with DfT.
