Connected and Automated Vehicles Forum

30 May @ 10:30 - 12:30

FREE for Members

This online session will explore a number of key issues.

Due to demand from ITS UK Members after our previous CAV Forum event, there will be time to debate the Automated Vehicles Bill and its implications for the ITS industry. Led by Forum Chair Ian Pengelly, we’ll discuss the Bills implications and next steps as it moves through the final stages of the legislative process.

Also in the session, we’ll be discussing a joint paper developed by AESIN, ITS UK and TTF looking at how the ITS and automotive sectors can be brought together to make the most of connected vehicles technology.  This follows a workshop held by ITS UK, TTF and AESIN last year.

Finally, we will hear from the Department for Transport’s Darren Capes on some of the key aspects of the Intelligent Traffic Management Fund (ITMF), the £20 million fund for traffic innovation.
