The leading celebration of transport technology – the ITS UK President’s Dinner – turns 20!
The President’s Dinner is the leading celebration of transport technology. It showcases the very best of the intelligent transport sector, including the innovation, expertise and dynamism of organisations and individuals across the industry.
The Dinner also sees us hand out our annual Awards, recognising all the organisations, individuals and projects that have delivered for the UK. It is attended by key clients and decision makers from a variety of organisations. It is a perfect opportunity to meet friends old and new, over a luxurious evening in the heart of London.
To mark 20 years, the Dinner will be heading to the fabulous art deco Ballroom of the Sheraton Grand Park Lane, London. The iconic, 11,000 square-foot Grade II listed ballroom is renowned for its 1920s high ceilings, and, chandeliers – the perfect location to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 6pm, before guests are invited to join us for a lavish three-course meal and awards ceremony.
Tables of 10, half tables of five and individual tickets are now available, with special rates available for Executive Members.

Steve Norris
President, ITS UK
Steve Norris was a Member of Parliament from 1983 to 1997 and from 1992-1996 was Minister of Transport. He led the Jubilee Line Extension project and took the first Crossrail Bill through Parliament. He authored the first National Cycling Strategy and is also credited with being the first to take transport technology seriously which he has continued to do ever since leaving Parliament in 1997.

Roads Minister
Justin Madders MP was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Transport on 22 July 2026.
He was previously Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Business and Trade between 9 July 2024 and 7 September 2025. He was elected as the MP for Ellesmere Port and Bromborough in July 2024.
