ITS UK and the Urban Mobility Partnership (UMP), a membership association representing major providers across key modes of transport, will be partnering to host this event examining the implications of the English Devolution Bill for transport.
Published in July, the English Devolution Bill presents a number of changes to how transport decisions will be made, passing more powers over traffic management, micromobility and transport planning to Strategic Authorities and Mayors.
The event will look to gather local and regional government, MPs, transport authorities, as well as transport technology providers, to explore what the English Devolution Bill could mean for the transport sector.
Expert policymakers will explain the implications of the Bill, whilst providing a platform for local and regional government to express their visions for their respective transport networks going forward.
