Transport Tech Showcase at Conservative Party Conference

6 October @ 19:00 - 20:30

Open to all

Experience the journeys of the future

Join ITS UK and leading innovators at this special Conservative Party Conference 2025 reception as we showcase the latest technology delivering improvements across all modes of transport.

As the UK strives to build an integrated, seamless transport network, we will demonstrate how technology is already unlocking new opportunities for greener, safer and more efficient mobility – while supporting economic growth, skilled jobs, and businesses across the country.

This hands-on event will showcase practical, deployable innovations from organisations across the sector, including tech that is transforming the way we manage and experience transport, from smart traffic management and digital ticketing to connected vehicles and real-time information services.

It’s an opportunity to see, up close, the innovations that will help decarbonise our transport network, make journeys safer and more accessible, and deliver better experiences for the travelling public and communities around the country.

Attended by senior political leaders, local leaders, transport authorities, and industry partners, this reception will be the perfect opportunity to explore how the UK can build on its world-leading expertise to deliver the next generation of smarter, safer, and more integrated transport.

What you’ll see on the day

At the reception, there will be demonstrations of:

  • Smart traffic management, with a live traffic signal showing how congestion can be reduced.
  • Smart ticketing, with electronic ticketing machines and tap-on, tap-off technology on display.
  • Using AI to support journey planning and rail bookings, creating a more seamless network.
  • Noise cameras, capturing noisy vehicles that are a nuisance to residents.
  • Road user charging tools that could help address the decline in fuel duty receipts.
