Gemini Startup Forum for Cybersecurity inviting early-stage founders

Google has announced a new initiative aimed at accelerating innovation in cybersecurity startups through artificial intelligence, inviting early-stage founders to apply for its Gemini Startup Forum.

The programme, part of the broader Google for Startups ecosystem, is a selective, in-person event designed for Seed to Series A companies building cybersecurity solutions with AI at their core. The two-day forum will take place in London and bring together founders with experts from Google, including teams from DeepMind, Google Cloud, and leading security divisions.

According to organisers, the forum is focused on practical application rather than theory. Participating startups will work directly with engineers and industry specialists to explore how AI tools—particularly Google’s Gemini technologies – can be integrated into cybersecurity products to improve threat detection, reduce response times, and enhance system reliability.

The initiative targets companies that already have a working product or user base and are looking to scale responsibly. Organisers say the goal is to help founders move beyond experimentation and embed AI into real-world workflows, while also understanding potential risks associated with deploying AI in sensitive security environments.

Selected participants will take part in small-group discussions, technical deep dives, and strategy workshops, alongside peer-to-peer collaboration with other founders facing similar challenges. The programme also offers ongoing support through Google’s startup network, including access to tools, training, and resources such as the Gemini Kit.

Google said the forum builds on previous cybersecurity-focused initiatives whose alumni include companies such as BforeAI, Patchstack, and LetsData, reflecting growing demand for AI-driven security solutions in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Applications for the Gemini Startup Forum are open for a limited time, with organisers encouraging eligible startups to apply ahead of the deadline in late April.
