Frances Williamson

Head of Stakeholder Engagement, Zenzic

Frances Williamson is the Head of Stakeholder Engagement at Zenzic, an organisation focused on uniting industry, government, and academia from various sectors to develop and deploy Connected and Autonomated Mobility (CAM) in the UK. The overarching goal is to position the UK as a global leader in CAM development and deployment by the year 2030.

At Zenzic, Frances spearheads the ‘Collaboration’ pillar, which serves as a trusted gateway to a collaborative CAM supply chain. Her responsibilities involve promoting and attracting inward investments while working closely with colleagues in the ‘Insights and Innovation’ team. Together, they support significant projects, including the CAM Scale-Up UK programme, interoperable projects, and the government’s investment in CAM, which encompasses initiatives like CAM Testbed UK. Additionally, Frances is involved in shaping Zenzic’s strategic initiatives such as the CAM Roadmap to 2035 and the CAM Supply Chain UK industry report.

With over two decades of experience in policy, industry engagement, and communications, Frances brings valuable expertise to her role. Prior to joining Zenzic, she contributed to the energy sector’s efforts in creating decentralised, democratised and digitised energy systems for UK consumers.
