Matthew Kendrick

Business Development Manager, Theoremus

Matthew Kendrick is a transport product and delivery specialist at Theoremus, working on advanced data platforms for public transport authorities and operators. His work focuses on turning raw operational data into deployable tools that improve how bus networks are monitored, managed, and planned, particularly in complex urban environments.

At Theoremus, Matthew supports business development for the company’s Bus Data Platform and the EIT Urban Mobility-funded Bus Crowding Management System. This programme is being delivered across two European capital cities and involves multiple universities, transport authorities, and commercial partners.

A core part of Matthew’s role is translating raw data, such as Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), ticketing, and schedule data, into operational and planning tools that transport authorities can use in live service management and longer-term network design. This gives him a broad understanding of the digital transport innovation landscape.

Prior to joining Theoremus, Matthew worked at The Routing Company, where he played a key role in supporting the launch of Scotland’s first Digital Demand Responsive Transport service. He also acted as account manager for UK and European DRT deployments, working with regional operators and public bodies to bring new transport services into operation.

Matthew’s experience across both DRT delivery and large-scale bus data platforms gives him a practical understanding of how transport technology must integrate with real-world operations, governance, and funding structures. His work at Theoremus builds directly on this foundation, focusing on how better data can support better decisions, more reliable services, and more responsive public transport networks.
