Dr Oliver Teall is a highly motivated and proactive business leader with a distinguished track record of growing technology focused businesses in the transport and infrastructure sectors. With over a decade of leadership in intelligent transport systems (ITS), digital strategy, innovation, and international market development, Oliver has built a reputation for delivering sustainable growth, forging strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of intelligent mobility in the UK and globally.

Oliver currently serves as Global Digital Lead for Intelligent Mobility at WSP, where he is accountable for expanding the company’s digital advisory, services, and platform solutions across international markets. In 2025, he led the business to exceed net revenue growth targets by over $18m, while cultivating a substantial forward pipeline in the $hundreds of millions. His role centres on senior relationship building, leading high value international pursuits, and strengthening WSP’s global digital brand in transport technology. WSP’s international presence in transportation & infrastructure spans across North America, UK & Europe, Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and Australia & New Zealand, all regions which Oliver engages with regularly as part of his role.

Alongside this global role, Oliver has spent several years as Growth Director for Intelligent Infrastructure and ITS at WSP UK, overseeing one of the largest dedicated ITS teams in the country, with over 300 specialists across Systems & Infrastructure, Operations & Safety, and Lighting & Energy Solutions. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering double digit annual revenue growth, consistently high win rates, and the development of long term growth strategies, including major framework wins with strategic clients.

Prior to joining WSP, Oliver held senior roles at Costain Group, including as Head of Intelligent Mobility and Innovation & Research Manager. He led Costain’s input into major UK programmes in connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV) and supported over £46m worth of collaborative R&D projects with universities and industry partners. His early career included pioneering research into self healing concrete as part of a national research consortium, leading to multiple awards and international recognition.

Oliver’s academic credentials include a PhD in Engineering from Cardiff University, an Executive MBA from Cranfield School of Management (where he received the Award for Excellence for the highest cohort grades), and an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol. He is a Chartered Engineer (IET & ICE), Chartered Manager, and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).
