UK SMEs showcase the country’s transport innovations at 2025 ITS World Congress
Seven of the UK’s leading transport technology SMEs will be supporting Birmingham’s hosting of the ITS World Congress 2027 when they exhibit on the UK-Europe Pavillion next month at the 2025 edition of the event in Atlanta.
AGD and its sister company MAV systems, Immense, Navtech Radar, Nicander, Simplifai Systems and Zenzic will be on the Pavilion.
The seven companies will not only get to showcase their solutions on the Pavilion, but also be able to make connections and network with peers from across the world, find potential business partners and meet industry experts among the over 10,000 Congress attendees.
The UK-Europe Pavilion in Atlanta is a partnership between Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), the host region of Birmingham 2027, and ERTICO – ITS Europe, the Congress organiser. 2027 will mark the return to the UK of the flagship global event, 21 years after it was held in London.
“We’re so proud to give visitors to Atlanta the chance to get a sneak peek into the future of transport with our seven cutting-edge UK Intelligent Transport System leaders showcasing their innovations,” commented Chris Lane, who is leading TfWM’s work in hosting the event. We look forward to showcasing how their groundbreaking work is setting the stage for the ITS World Congress Birmingham 2027 and giving the world’s ITS experts the chance to come and meet fellow innovators who will shape the future.”
The participation follows a blueprint perfected at previous World and European Congresses where SMEs have said being a part of a UK Pavilion raised their profiles, increased their visitor engagement and delivered export possibilities in an affordable way. The Pavilion will also host a number of networking events during the five days which will be announced later this month.
With two years to go until the Congress comes to Birmingham’s NEC, the official engagement with potential exhibitors and visitors will get underway in Atlanta. Under the theme “Connect Ideas. Transform Transport.”, the 2027 ITS World Congress in Birmingham will serve as a unique platform to showcase how intelligent transport systems are transforming mobility worldwide.
“We’re recruiting now for companies and ITS professionals to be part of ITS World Congress Birmingham 2027,” concluded Mr Lane. “You’ll get your chance to join global leaders – this is your opportunity to showcase innovations and shape the future of intelligent transport. We’re looking for sponsors, exhibitors, and of course contributors to elevate their brand, display solutions, and gain invaluable insights.
“If you’re ready to be involved you should visit our congress website for more information and subscribe to updates, or email us directly to discuss sponsorship, exhibition, or contribution opportunities.”
The 2025 ITS World Congress takes place in the Georgia World Congress Centre, Atlanta, USA from 24 to 28 August.
