Hampshire County Council appoints new contractors for civils and highways framework
Hampshire County Council has appointed new contractors for its fifth-generation civils and highways framework covering the south of England.
VolkerFitzpatrick, BAM Nuttall and Galliford Try are among the contractors who have won a place for the first time this year on the major project lot.
The four-year framework could see a spend of up to £500m split into two distinct southern territories: East and West.

For projects £20m-£175m projects, the winners were:
VolkerFitzpatrick; John Graham Construction; Galliford Try Construction; BAM Nuttall
For the East and West £4m-£25m, the winners were:
Milestone Infrastructure; Knights Brown Construction; Colas; Octavius Infrastructure; Jackson Civil Engineering; Griffiths Farrans JV
For East or West projects up to £5m, the winners were:
Milestone Infrastructure; Knights Brown Construction; Colas; Octavius Infrastructure;
Mildren Construction; Jackson Civil Engineering Group;
Alun Griffiths (Contractors) – East region only
For projects up to £350k, the winners were:
Just Hampshire including Portsmouth and Southampton
Rocon Contractors; Mays Technical; Hope & Clay; B & M McHugh.
