ITS UK Annual Awards hit record 120+ entries as shortlisted announced
11 September 2025: Intelligent Transport Systems UK (ITS UK), the industry association for transport technology, has announced the shortlist for its annual Awards, the leading celebration of the sector. The shortlist is published following a record year for entries, with more than 120 nominations made across the range of categories.
Each year, the ITS UK Annual Awards showcase the best of the industry, highlighting the projects, organisations and individuals that demonstrated excellence in the intelligent transport sector. Awards cover everything from digitalisation, scale-up success, sustainability, international achievements, accessibility, and safety, amongst others.
Max Sugarman, Chief Executive of Intelligent Transport Systems UK, said: “The ITS UK Awards showcase the fantastic work of the transport technology sector and – this year – we’ve seen a record-breaking number of submissions, with more than 120 entries.
“What is clear from all the submissions is the innovation and dynamism across all parts of the sector, as well as the broad and varied range of applications of technology across the transport network. From data and digitalisation, to improving safety, accessibility, or connected and automated mobility, the shortlisted entries showcase the best of the sector. Congratulations to all on the list!”
The Awards will be presented at the prestigious 19th President’s Dinner taking place on Tuesday 21 October at the beautiful Church House in Westminster. Places are filling up fast, so attendees are recommended to book soon to avoid disappointment.
